Individual Group Ally
The National Survivor User Network is only as strong as its membership. Effective networking is essential and NSUN is continuing to build a national database of mental health user-led organisations. An infrastructure that offers support, shares information and good practice and facilitates local networking and communication has been developed. Regular and well organised communication amongst the membership contributes to a national voice. It is your voice that feeds the national voice.
What are the benefits?
You will network, learn from others, contribute to our policies, and help us by your experience. Through our extensive database you will be able to contact groups and individuals across England who have the smae interests and concerns as you. You can:
- Get in touch with others with shared interests and experiences
- Exchange good practice ideas and information about service user involvement and organising your group
- Receive or offer mentoring and coaching
- Find out about other sources of help and support
- Help raise your profile by advertising your organisation and any special events
- Receive newsletters, publications, and other information we distribute.
NSUN’s members' area has something for everyone, whether you need to know where to go for help in a crisis or you want practical help to boost your user and survivor organisation in its important work. The members' area contains checklists, downloadable templates and clear descriptions on everything you need to know to run a good organisation. You’ll find all the answers and much, much more in the members' area of NSUN’s website. And its free to join.
