Survey – funding for grassroots groups

The NSUN and The Fore logos on a white background

NSUN and The Fore are today launching a survey about the funding needs of grassroots, user-led community groups and organisations that support the mental health of their communities. We want to understand and communicate the experiences small grassroots groups have trying to get funding to sustain your work: what encourages or puts you off applying? What types and amounts of funding are most useful? What is currently inaccessible about applying for funding and what can be done to improve this?

By responding, you have the chance to enter a prize draw for one of 10 £50 Amazon vouchers.

This survey is for independent organisations based in England with an annual turnover of up to £100k.

The survey closes at 23:00 on the 13th December 2021.

Want to know more about what works and what doesn’t in grant-making to grassroots organisations? Listen to grantees from NSUN’s Side By Side Fund talk about red flags in funding and their ideas for improving grant-making processes in order to encourage grassroots groups to apply and give them a better experience of being a grantee.
