NSUN has been given money from the £5m government pot to support VCS organisations to distribute to user-led groups who are not eligible to apply to the main fund being distributed by Mind. For more information, please click here.

Financial support for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to respond to coronavirus (COVID-19) 

The government has pledged £750 million to ensure VCSE can continue their vital work supporting the country during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, including £200 million for the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, along with an additional £150 million from dormant bank and building society accounts.

Charity Excellence has created a free, searchable Covid19 funder database which is hosted on their website. It lists a huge number of national, regional and local funds available for both organisations and individuals. To access it, you need to register on their site first which just takes a couple of minutes.

MadCovid hardship fund for people with mental health difficulties

NSUN members Jo Edge and Bethan Edwards, both survivors of mental illness and the psychiatric system, have created a hardship fund to help anyone with mental health difficulties who are currently struggling financially. 

Funds are available to people who do not have access to other available funds from employers or through the government.
