Service User Involvement Team (SUITe)
Our aim is to provide information and support to mental health service users in Bromley, to network with those accessing services and feedback views and experiences to mental health service providers to improve, develop and shape mental health care in the Bromley Borough. |

LiVE project (listening to the voice of experience)
The LiVE Service User Involvement Project works with service users by encouraging, supporting, empowering and enabling them to become involved in the health and social issues affecting their lives. We believe that service users are best placed to consult on how services should respond to their needs. The LiVE Project runs a Service User Consultancy Group which trains and supports its members to become Service User Consultants. Service User Consultants: attend meetings as experts by experience train mental health staff are involved in recruitment and selection are consulted on their views about services (focus groups, surveys etc) utilise their unique experiences in a way to improve mental health services for themselves and others |

Canterbury & District mental health forum is the mental health Service User* forum for the area covered by the Canterbury City Council with the town of Faversham: Established to give a voice to mental health service users* in 1994, and known as Canterbury and Faversham Forum for mental health (prior to 2007) , CaD operates from its own shop-front premises in Canterbury. CaD is an independent registered charity with a service-user led management. CaD has a good reputation for enabling local users* of mental health services, from the Canterbury and coastal locality, to take part in service planning processes. |

Making A SceneWe are a service user led and managed drama group, made up of current and ex service users. We employ a paid drama tutor/director who has many years experience as an arts worker, actress and playright. We occasionally employ sessional arts workers when we are working with other groups and organizations. We have facilitators in all our workshops and groups who are current or ex service users and have gained experience of facilitating drama workshops. |

Yellow Trousers CIC is a social enterprise which promotes mental and social wellbeing. It has been set up by professionals with lived experience of mental distress. We work with partners to fund, develop and deliver positive and creative interventions to improve the life chances of people experiencing mental distress or social hardship. While advocacy can be important we recognise the role of individual responsibility and aim to help people develop insight and understanding to help themselves. |
