Section 136 Pathway launches in London

December 2016

On Monday, 12 December the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, joined London’s NHS, ambulance, police, mental health and social services at City Hall to launch a new set of standards to improve the care of vulnerable Londoners facing a mental health crisis.

The mental health crisis care programme is working with stakeholders and key partners across the crisis care system to improve crisis care.

London service users continue to describe the poor quality of mental health crisis care largely due to services that fail to meet their needs and lack basic respect, warmth and compassion.

NSUN's Naomi Good was representing the mental health movement at the event. You can view a video of Naomi speaking about implementing change.
